Functional
The storage system was located in specially designed niches. The material chosen for the cabinets and shelves was Lamarty chipboard in the decor Cagliari Oak. But the fronts of the spacious wardrobes were made of MDF, in beige color with a “blinds” layout. It turned out to accommodate two full-fledged cabinets, one of which has a compartment for storing an ironing board. This design and filling of the cabinets was thought out by the author of the project Kristina Chernova, who provided different options for drawers and shelves for our heroes. A dressing table was placed in front of the window between the cabinets. It can also serve as a table for reading books.. A home library was organized in the niches to the right and left of the table. A tall floor mirror reflects the window, creating a feeling of more space, light and air.
Play of colors, shapes and details
The front door was painted bright cherry color. The same color was used to cover the entire perimeter of the room along the bottom.. This technique visually “insulates” and “envelops” the room.. The curtains also have cherry cuffs along the bottom edge. And all this was mixed in the shades of a large ethnic carpet, which is located in the center of the room; it unites the sleeping group into a single whole.
The headboard dominates the bedroom. With its original shape and rhythmic stripes, it modestly but confidently takes on the accent. This bright geometric interior element is made according to the sketch of the author of the project from SyPly birch plywood, upholstered in thick cotton with a contrasting pattern. To the left and right of the headboard, the most ordinary light bulbs with a switch on a wire and a connection to a socket were mounted on the wall. They look simple and therefore beautiful among accents.
The entire interior is based on the simple geometry of space; the project designer added only one, but significant for some playful interior design, stucco decoration.
Roller blinds were replaced with wooden blinds and curtains were added to the windows. We hung light curtains on an open black wall curtain rod. All these details emphasized the atmosphere of life outside the city.. Slatted facades with amazingly beautiful vintage handles also set the tone for life outside the noisy city.
Lighting
The central chandelier is the main decoration of light sources. Two sconces on both sides of the bed. Floor lamp for reading in a chair. Desk lamp. And the magnetic track system is the main source of room lighting.
So, with the help of designer Kristina Chernova, we managed to fill the interior of the heroes’ bedroom with new colors. The uniqueness of this interior is the lightness surrounded by details that you want to look at, study and find their relationship with each other..
