Designer Alexander Bezvushko brought elements of natural beauty outside the window of the house into the kitchen, integrating them into a modern interior.
The metamorphosis of an uncomfortable room with a bulky chimney into a modern functional kitchen began from the very beginning. The floor was built new, warm from thick SyPly plywood. Among its advantages are strength, increased moisture resistance and environmental friendliness. The wood texture on the walls and ceiling was replaced by a stone texture imitating birch bark. The effect was achieved with the help of decorative plaster, on which dark spots were applied. Another birch grew at the entrance to the kitchen: a vertical lamp was disguised in the tree trunks.
Kitchen furniture was also waiting for rethinking and rearrangement. The place of an uncomfortable tiny kitchen was taken by a functional set in two shades: milky and cocoa, with a wood texture in "Noce Mondiale" decor from Lamarty chipboard collection. Kitchen elements were installed under the south window along the entire wall. Facades hide capacious shelves and drawers with closers. To maximize the capacity of the headset, a mezzanine section with hinged facades was provided here, and a refrigerator was placed in a separate column. Another refrigerator hid in a niche that was formed when the duct wall was enlarged. The centerpiece of the refurbished space is an imposing solid ash dining table, above which a birch trunk light pendant floats. The table was surrounded by chairs upholstered in eco-leather.
In addition to birches, the designer played with the theme of the lake in the interior, which is located not far from the house. The "water surface" of the metal panels complemented the corner composition between the windows, thus connecting the interior with the exterior. The steel “lake” with islands of shelves was illuminated with a diode strip, thereby turning the metal surface into an original evening lamp with soft, diffused light.
