Project designer Ksenia Lysenko moved away from the conventional idea of a “sterile” kitchen, creating a space where functionality serves comfort. Matte surfaces, textured walls, natural textiles, soft lighting, and sophisticated nature-inspired shades come together to form a calm interior with expressive accents.
Furniture plays a key role in shaping the architecture of the space.
Along one wall, a row of base cabinets features carcasses in the Black decor, paired with gold-toned HPL fronts. The deep solid color emphasizes the clean geometry of the furniture, visually unifies the composition, and creates a striking contrast with the lighter interior finishes. By eliminating upper cabinets in this area, the designers made the kitchen feel lighter and more spacious.
Opposite, a floor-to-ceiling furniture composition combines tall cabinets, storage systems, and overhead units. The carcasses are also made from Lamarty laminated chipboard in the Black decor. This solution makes even a large furniture volume look cohesive and graphic, while the dark inner framework provides an effective contrast with the light-colored fronts finished with decorative plaster.
A distinctive accent is the open niche made from Lamarty laminated chipboard in the Musa decor. It provides a dedicated space for the homeowners’ favorite bread maker. The muted, nature-inspired shade softens the strict geometry of the furniture and adds warmth to the composition.
Muse works particularly well in this type of interior, with its simple forms, straight lines, and calm matte surfaces. The decor adds character and warmth without overwhelming the space, supporting the overall sense of solidity and understated elegance.
The combination of Muse and Black solves several design tasks at once: it helps define functional zones, emphasizes the architectural structure of the furniture, adds depth to the interior, and at the same time preserves its calm, welcoming character.
The kitchen’s internal functionality has also been carefully considered. Spacious storage systems, pull-out corner mechanisms, a dish-drying unit, and overhead cabinets help make efficient use of every available space.
The appliances are seamlessly integrated into the overall composition: a cooktop with a built-in extractor hood, a compact oven with a microwave function, a dishwasher, a refrigerator, and a separate freezer.
The interior is completed with a worktop featuring golden accents, a textured backsplash, an open shelf, a soft bench by the window, decorative lighting, textiles, ceramics, and indoor plants.
The result is a kitchen where modern functionality meets the warmth and comfort of a true home.
