Lamarty laminated chipboard in the “Kvartirny Vopros” project on NTV. Kitchen with a view of Moscow

The project is based on the idea of a city in which each route leads to its own destination

In this project, the main starting point was the city, not a noisy metropolis, but Moscow, seen through the eyes of a person who discovers new routes every day. It was this idea that formed the basis of the new kitchen: the space was organized so that movement through it was intuitive, and each zone had its own character and purpose. The kitchen has acquired a logical trajectory of movement. Instead of the usual dining table, a cozy corner has appeared here, reminiscent of a small city cafe. A bench by the window with a panoramic view of the capital's sights has become a place for leisurely breakfasts, family conversations and evening relaxation.

Despite the compact area, the kitchen was made quite spacious. Instead of the classic work triangle, the designer proposed a “ring route” that makes it convenient to move between the refrigerator, storage area, coffee cabinet and work surface. The main storage system was formed by high columns at the entrance, wall cabinets reaching to the ceiling, and a spacious buffet. Even a place that usually goes unused - the ventilation shaft area - was turned into a shallow module for a coffee corner.

All furniture is made from Lamarty chipboard. Wood decor Karia Walnut was chosen for the upper facades, which makes the interior warmer and combines the kitchen with the dining area. The facades of the lower cabinets, sideboard and columns are made in light decor "Teffy", thanks to which the furniture looks lighter and does not overload a small space. The architectural quality of the composition is emphasized by the portals of the coffee area and relaxation areas in the decor "Rock". To give them a more expressive volume, the elements were made with a thickened body, gluing two sheets of laminated chipboard and covering them with a single edge. The seating area has also been well thought out. The bench at the table in the Cariya Walnut decor hides spacious storage systems under the seat and in the high back, and next to it there is a hanging shelving unit with open and closed shelves. The abandonment of traditional handles in favor of the Gola profile made it possible to preserve laconic facades and emphasize the clean geometry of the furniture.

The main artistic accent of the kitchen was glass aprons with a panorama of Moscow based on the original sketches of the author of the project Andrey Volkov. The drawings were transferred to lightened tempered glass using ultraviolet printing, preserving the vibrant texture of the ink and the character of hand-made graphics. They create the very view of the city that inspired the author of the project.

The final details made the interior truly residential. Wooden blinds gently emphasize the graphics of the space, a small book corner appeared next to the seating area for the owners’ favorite publications and collection of antiques, and laconic table setting supported the calm mood of the kitchen.
