Lamarty chipboard and SyPly plywood in the “Dachny Otvet” project on NTV. Horizon boundaries for the kitchen-living room

The kitchen-living room space was conceived as a place of internal grounding, where the boundaries between cultures, nature and modern lifestyle are erased, and every element reminds of harmony and tranquility

The interior blends Eastern motifs, echoes of African aesthetics, and natural imagery, creating the atmosphere of a cozy retreat. Warm wood tones, a deep palette of earthy colors, and soft tactile surfaces evoke associations with sunsets during natural disasters, evening bonfires by the ocean, and the scents of distant lands. A suede-effect decorative technique in a deep gray color was chosen for the walls and ceiling. This solution utilizes vertical and horizontal surfaces within a single volume, creating a sense of enveloping space.

The wood theme was further developed throughout the interior. Particular attention was paid to the accent wall near the sofa. SyPly BIRCH Middle birch plywood was used as a reliable base for the future decorative composition. This material creates a flat and durable surface for the installation of finishing elements, maintaining dimensional stability and geometric precision. The base is topped with Lamarti laminated chipboard panels in the "Neivo Oak" decor. The natural wood grain of the warm, green interior and the thin black profiles between the panels add graphic quality and rhythm to the composition. The wood theme continues in the window area. Above the radiator, a two-tiered laminated chipboard structure in the light wood décor of "Floria Walnut" rises, simultaneously serving as a wide windowsill for relaxation. The warm wood tone and distinctive texture create a natural feel to the surface. Complemented by a soft mattress upholstered in a pattern that matches the sofa, the windowsill becomes an indispensable part of the relaxation area and another space for leisurely conversation or reading. At the same time, the structure retains its functionality thanks to built-in ventilation grilles for the free circulation of warm air.

The kitchen area is designed as delicately and practically as possible within the shared living space. Tall tall cabinets conceal appliances behind solid fronts, maintaining the visual purity of the interior. The same Lamarty laminated chipboard in the "Neivo Oak" finish used for the kitchen front was used to finish the opposite wall paneling. This solution creates a striking, open-plan space where the furniture becomes part of the structure.

The slim island in the center of the kitchen adds a contemporary touch. Made of laminated chipboard in the "Titan" finish, it becomes a striking accent thanks to its metallic sheen. The contrast between warm wood textures and cool metallic effects creates an intriguing textured effect. Tall black stools build on this idea and bring the modern soundscape together.

The heart of the interior is a soft seating area. A uniquely shaped sofa was created specifically for the project, creating a relaxing atmosphere throughout the entire space. A round solid oak table stretched nearby, emphasizing not only the geometric features but also the semantic center of the space—a place for gatherings, socializing, and family traditions. A round steam fireplace completes the composition, creating the feeling of a live fire and imbuing the interior with a special, atmospheric tranquility. A decorative jute screen completes the interior. Its texture alludes to African craft traditions. It is precisely these design details that define the project: a combination of alternative materials, contrasting shades, soft light, and thoughtful textures create an interior in which you want to stop, take a breath, and, leaving all turbulence at the threshold, simply enjoy the moment.
