The small area of the room required particularly careful work with the volume and architecture of the space. Instead of the usual solution with bunk beds, the interior was built in layers: the sleeping places were raised above the storage systems, with the opportunity to free up the central part of the room for games and impromptu performances.
The basis of the composition was a podium made of moisture-resistant plywood SyPly BIRCH Middle - a durable and wear-resistant material. Thanks to its high physical and mechanical characteristics, plywood provided the structure with reliability, stability and precise geometry. The fronts of the drawers were made from Lamarty chipboard in “Aluminum” decor: the light metallic sheen of the material added a modern touch to the interior and delicately supported the chrome elements of furniture and decor. The stage was complemented by transformable beds that are put away in closets, freeing up space if necessary, freeing up space for creativity and games. The cabinets into which the beds are integrated are made of MFC in black embossed “Shagreen”. The material helped create visually solid planes and at the same time withstand the serious functional load of daily transformation. The supply ventilation unit was hidden behind the cabinet facades in a soundproofed casing, so there will always be fresh air in the room without unnecessary noise.
The color palette of the interior is based on a combination of soft blue and deep blue shades. The heavenly color of the walls creates a feeling of open space, and rich accents add a theatrical mood to the interior. Storage systems at the entrance, made of Lamarty chipboard in the “Serenity” decor, dissolve against the background of the walls, making the furniture visually light. Some of the MDF facades were decorated with milling, and mirror inserts in the floor enhanced the feeling of spaciousness.
The continuation of the room was the loggia, where educational and creative areas were placed. Original make-up tables have appeared here - places where you can do homework, draw or prepare for new performances. For furniture we used Lamarty chipboard in shades “Aluminum” and “White crystal”. Another transforming table in white is located at the entrance to the loggia. Like the entire interior, it is designed for several use cases: when folded, it is a compact dressing table, and, if necessary, a full-fledged workplace.
The final touch was textiles and decorative details. The younger sister's bed was placed opposite the stage - like a seat in a theater box. Light curtains, tiebacks with golden bees and star-patterned fabric completed the look of a room where every day can begin as a new performance.
