At ARTDOM 2026 in Moscow, the Syktyvkar Plywood Mill presented the Lamarty and SyPly brands through an immersive journey-style stand dedicated to the Komi Republic — the homeland of the materials and the source of their character.

From February 19 to 21, 2026, the international exhibition of furniture, interior solutions, and art ARTDOM 2026 took place at Crocus Expo IEC in Moscow. More than 450 companies and over 45,000 industry professionals from Russia and other countries participated in one of the key professional events of the sector. Spanning over 32,000 m², the exhibition became a platform for dialogue on trends, technologies, and new approaches to design.

The season’s theme — Sense Sensory — focused on experiencing space through the senses, encouraging visitors to move beyond purely visual perception and to reconsider their interaction with material, form, and environment.

Lamarty & SyPly Space: A Journey to the Komi Republic

As part of the exhibition, Syktyvkar Plywood Mill LLC presented the Lamarty and SyPly brands through a conceptual journey-style stand.

The installation paid tribute to the traditions of the Komi Republic — the homeland of the materials. The space was conceived as an immersive journey through the northern region, where nature shapes character and culture defines the brands’ value context.

The architecture of the stand reflected the fluidity of northern landscapes. The image of the starting point was inspired by the Manpupuner Plateau, an iconic natural landmark of the region. A curved structure clad in SyPly plywood demonstrated the material’s potential in complex forms and highlighted its structural expressiveness.

The route included several sensory zones: an ароматическая zone with natural notes of the northern forest, a tactile area introducing textures and surfaces, and an audio zone creating atmosphere through sound. The journey concluded with a tasting area featuring traditional treats from the Komi Republic — completing the experience through sensation.

Throughout the three days, company specialists held consultations, discussed practical applications of the products in furniture, architecture, and construction, and answered professional questions from designers and specifiers.

The Lamarty and SyPly installation became an example of how material can speak the language of culture, nature, and contemporary design — serving not merely as part of an interior, but as its conceptual foundation.
