The authors of the project Ksenia Mayakina and Erzi Khanadanova built the concept of the bedroom-living room interior based on the apartment owners’ hobbies for music, and the entire interior became a recording studio 60- s of the last century.
The room was divided into two functional areas. At the entrance there is a “studio” with the functions of a living room and an office, designed in darker colors. Closer to the window there is a private area of the room with calmer shades and a warm atmosphere. The color division leaves no doubt that this is a dual-use room. We chose a warm caramel shade for the bedroom, and a muted blue for the living room. Finally, the room was divided in half by a translucent partition with aluminum profiles in the color of the blue walls.
The brutality of the living room area was added to the wall panels in dark wood, not forgetting to take care of sound insulation so that the sounds of the bass guitar did not disturb the neighbors. The interior of the “recording studio” was decorated with “vinyl records”: metal circles were attached to wooden washers, which became lamps. The 32 discs were kept company by metal shelves on the adjacent wall.
A storage system was assembled in the living room area - a long cabinet covering the entire wall, which can act as additional seating. Next to it is a spacious work desk for two with drawers for documents. The living room furniture cabinets are made of Lamarty laminated chipboard in the color "Raine" in classic matte embossing, the facades are made of MDF in blue enamel. The sofa took its place in the living room. A projector screen in the light panel area will allow you to organize movie screenings for family evenings.
The caramel bedroom was diluted with calm strokes: a bed in gray upholstery, curtains with a houndstooth print and cabinet furniture. A full-wall wardrobe was assembled from Lamarty laminated chipboards in the gray shade of the decor "Raine". The pattern on the doors in the form of rectangles with rounded corners is made of MDF by milling and painted with enamel. The bed was made with snow-white linen, and a textured blanket with a tweed herringbone added a touch of negligence to the interior.
