According to the design project Nana Kobakhidze and Ekaterina Ignatova kitchen work area geographically remained in the same place. At the same time, it was decided to allocate the space in the niche of the former pantry for high, ceiling-high cabinets, and cabinets and wall cabinets now stretch from wall to wall in two rows.
The kitchen set is arranged in the letter L. Two tall pencil cases fit into the niche: one is intended for the refrigerator, and the second provides storage space. In turn, floor cabinets and wall-mounted modules were installed along the side wall. The bodies of all cabinets are made of Lamarty laminated chipboard in the decor "Teffy", which is protected from moisture by a thick PVC edge. The doors of the upper modules are made hinged - their smooth closing is ensured by Austrian fittings. Facades are made of thermoplastic in two colors. The work area is completed by an apron made of tempered glass 5 mm thick.
The dining table also remained in its place, near the window.. At the same time, a rounded ottoman appeared opposite the table, which can be used for seating guests: just move the table to the ottoman, and the number of seats will increase significantly.
Under the “dunes” they launched another “wave” - a hanging console made of MDF with a deep drawer. And the decoration of the kitchen area was a comfortable and aesthetic sofa, which was designed specifically for the tasks of this project.
A bright accent was the wall with a “dune” - an expressive composition made of MDF painted with a gradient. This terracotta wall smoothly transitions into the hallway, which also fell into the remodeling area. It is distinguished by an unusual arrangement of the wardrobe, which, nevertheless, is very convenient to use.. Cases and facades are made of Lamarty laminated chipboard in the decor "Rock". A hinged wardrobe involves storing things on shelves; there are drawers for small items. The open part of the set is decorated with a classic wood pattern decor "Noce Mondiale" from the Lamarty collection, it is equipped with drawers for storing shoe care supplies and which can be used as a bench.
Another hinged wardrobe in the same caramel shade of walnut wood has compartments for storing long outerwear and compartments with two rods for short clothes and a drawer for storing gloves.. An aluminum frame with a mirror is installed on the front side of the cabinet, significantly expanding the space around it. And the cabinet located closer to the kitchen-living room area is equipped with display cases made of black frame profile with glass, which adds lightness and sophistication to the furniture.
Cabinet parts are made of Lamarty laminated chipboard in the decor "Noce Mondiale", edged using a unique and moisture-resistant pur-glue, which provides a reliable connection with a minimum thickness of the adhesive seam.
In the updated space with dunes, everything is now very functional, it has become convenient to cook, relax, and receive guests.
